Speakers

Brother Armand Alcazar, FSC, Ph.D.
Brother Armand Alcazar, FSC began teaching high school in Omaha, Nebraska in 1971 and has been teaching in college since 1992. Much of his adult career was in Memphis, Tennessee before returning to his hometown, Chicago, to serve as Auxiliary Provincial for the De La Salle Brothers of the Midwest.
Now he gives presentations and facilitates conversations and retreats with interests lying in: Spirituality for adults, the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, Teaching as Vocation, changing demographics of Catholics in the U.S., Reconnecting to the True Self, and the role of Hospitality in Religion.

Lori Dressel
Lori and her family have been the administrators of La Salle Manor for over 25 years. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Montana State University, her Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University and received her certificate in Spiritual Guidance through Siena Center, Racine, WI. Lori meets with directees at the Manor, as well as remotely. Lori has a passion for Contemplative Prayer and has been leading Centering Prayer groups for several years.
