LaSalle Manor Retreat Center has three buildings on 47 acres of rural countryside. The Manor is located west of metropolitan Chicago. It is located near Plano along beautiful Big Rock Creek.

Each rental group here has sole use of our facility. We provide all linens (sheets, towels, etc.).

St. Joseph Lodge is a large log facility that can be used for different meetings or events.

  • Great Room: A big two story room with a large stone fireplace, surrounded on three sides by a balcony. It has its original wood floor and a wet bar. It can accommodate 60 people. It has access to a large screened porch on the lake side.
  • Lower Lounge:This room has plush carpeting and cushions for presentations or ice-breakers. It has stone walls and a large fireplace with access to the outside.
  • Dining Room: On the lower level, this room can seat up to 60 people. It has large tables that seat up to 10. The room is arranged to accommodate each group.
  • Small Group Rooms: Four rooms off the Great Room and the balcony, can be used for small group purposes. They can hold up to 12. Two other spaces can also be used, if needed.
  • Game Room: This large room on the lower level offers ping-pong, pool and foosball. It also has two pop machines.

The Dormitory Building is a later addition to the lodge for sleeping accommodations. 49 rooms have single beds. Three rooms have bunk beds. There are two suites, one with one room and bath, and another with three rooms and bath. This gives a total of 55 beds. General washrooms are in the center of each floor of this building.

  • Sacred Heart Chapel can accommodate approximately 90 people for prayer and liturgy. It can also be used for media and film needs by closing off the sanctuary.
  • Gift Shop offers assorted Christian materials for purchase. These are things to remember the retreat experience, to use in faith development, or to give as gifts.
  • Breezeway connects the dormitory to the lodge. It is the main entrance and is often used as a gathering spot by many groups.

Spacious grounds surround the buildings. The property has a prairie, wooded paths, and a small lake. Patrons can use the in-ground heated pool, tennis courts, horse shoe pits, volleyball court, softball and football fields. Benches are around the property and a deck overlooks the lake. A fire pit is on the lakeshore for outside bonfires.
